(Communities of Bulwark and Thornwell) organised there latest event for the local communities with the 4th Chepstow Walking Carnival. The day was bathed in bright sunshine as this years Carnival King Byron Morgan and Queen Shakirah Watts along with their attendants Ffion Lewis and Callum England all looking there very best. The procession left Pembrook School and was led by “The Chepstow & Caldicot Lions” and the new Mayor of Chepstow Mr Dale Rooks leading the way with the King & Queen chauffered by Paul Coombes in his 1952 Armstrong Siddeley Whitley through the communities of Bulwark and Thornwell.
The community welcomed the procession with warm enthusiastic applause on to Thornwell Football Club where a fun day occurred. Combat would like to thank the outgoing Queen Sophie Beard and her 2 princesses Poppy Scanlon and Teye Andrews along with all the people who helped support and contribute to this year great event. Look forward to next years bigger and better parade through your communities.
