Steve McCurry has been one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than thirty years, with scores of magazine and book covers, over a dozen books, and countless exhibitions around the world to his name.
Steve McCurry gave an interesting and informative talk about some of his photographic adventures across the world: before answering questions from the audience. During the session a selection of his photographs were projected onto a large screen and he discussed some of the events involved in his photography. He sees much of his photography in the genre of ‘street photography, where the subjects are unaware they are being photographed or at least not posed or positioned.
