The company of Chivalry (A 14th Century Living History Re-enactment Society) held an event at Caerphilly Castle where people were able to step back in time and meet medieval characters. They watched as the history of the medieval castle came alive with the sights, sounds and smells of the period. There was hands-on activities, living history, talks and displays. Suitable for all the family.
Caerphilly Castle is the largest castle in Wales. The castle was first built by Gilbert de Clare in 1268. Also at the event was a stand by Black Mountains Falconry Centre. Pictured is June James who presented a falconry display.
